Lucky Rats get their injuries fixed! Not!

As a writer I really enjoyed the way this was done. Essentially one is lead to believe (oh was it just me) that these delighful little rats were getting their poor little injuries fixed. That is just a great human thing, being able to choose like that.

Then when I read more my stupid brain started to say hello I then realised that is not what this was about at all! Stupid me.

Yes I am for thinking that this article could be anything other than some news on how we use animals for stuff like this. Yes I know this is amazing work, yes if I needed the medical help that had come from this work I might appreciate it. But I don’t want to be part of a society that uses other living things against their will do do stuff like this.

Anyone else feel the same?

100 Sled Dogs killed for what?

Did you hear about this?

Apparently 100 Sled Dogs were killed because they were not needed anymore. I mean seriously, is that anyway to treat any living thing? Let alone dogs?

I do find it odd that people just feel animals are there for us to use as we want. There is a respect between us and animals that should be obeyed. It has nothing to do religion or faith, it is just one living being seeing another.

So these dogs were working sled dogs that were no longer needed because the company didn’t have enough tourists coming. Well is it just possible they could have done something else with the dogs? Just possible?

They truth is they couldn’t be arsed. It was easier for them to just have the dogs killed instead of doing something compassionate with the dogs.
